San Juan Activate

Our ongoing friendship with San Juan la Laguna has been expressed through:

San Juan Activate was a community development organization committed to supporting education and the broader community of San Juan la Laguna. We partnered with the group to plant seedling Cypress trees in the area surrounding the town’s water supply atop a mountain high above San Juan la Laguna. Cypress trees grow quickly, anchor the soil to protect against erosion, and wick moisture from the air into the soil through their roots.
